What is your background?:
I’m finishing my photography
diploma at SAIT in Calgary. I’ve been actively taking pictures for the last few
years, satisfying a passion for creativity and quality. Throughout my career,
I’ve been involved in customer service, sales, marketing, computer graphics,
management and software design. Also I have several years equine experience;
knowing horses and horse people has helped me become a better horse
photographer. My experience has helped me be more attentive to my customer’s
needs.
-
What is your focus?:
Completing my certificate at SAIT, I’ve been touching many areas of
photography. My goal is to please my customers. I will always discuss your

-
How does a photo shoot get organized:
It starts with an initial meeting.
I want to determine your needs and I like to look at the location to get some
ideas. Then we schedule the photo shoot and I come in that day and take
pictures. Depending on the job, I bring a portable computer and I’m able to
show you proofs in person or else I’ll email them for to you to make your
selection at your convenience. Finally, I provide you with the CD and/or
prints.
-
For outside pictures, what is the best time?:
During the summer months, the morning and evening are the best time to shoot as
the light is warm. A overcast sky is also good for neutral, shadowless light.
-
Do I have to be there during a photo shoot?:
Yes I would like someone to
be around during the photo shoot.
-
Who owns the rights for the pictures?
As a general practice in the
photography industry, the photographer owns the rights but you own unlimited
usage of these images.
-
Is there release form or contract to sign?;
Yes, we sign an agreement for the
images and depending of the type of pictures, a release form may be required.
This is something we discuss in our first meeting.
